I loved the grounds-the waterfall, the bridge, the plentiful flowers, the breakfast, and getting a good nights sleep was so refreshing! I was glad our room had a tub as I prefer taking baths!
We ate at ednme pizza in town and it was delicious! Getting around Arroyo Grande was easy, and the yound woman working the room for breakfast was, sweet, warm, friendly and so busy making sure everyone was well fed and happy!

We really enjoyed our visit to the downtown of Arroyo Grande one evening where we stopped by Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab. A nostalgic place to enjoy some tasty ice cream and view historic photos of its early beginning and imagine what it was like back then to be a child in this place with toys and treats surrounding you. We ate a Thai restaurant in nearby Grover Beach and Mexican restaurant that specialized in seafood.

Our favorite spots were fishing at Avila Beach Pier, caught a starfish LOL, Cracked Crab for dinner and Huckleberry's for breakfast. Delightful time in Arroya Grande for my husband's birthday. Everywhere we went people were very friendly and nothing was more than 5 or 6 minutes from the hotel.

just off the highway and good choices for restaurants nearby within walking distance. The hotel is part of the hilton chain, so well appointed and nicely furnished. There is a gym and a pool and they offer a good selection at breakfast.
For $350/ rate the first night, one expects better decorum standards enforced and better sound remediation. The staff did nothing about children jumping off furniture on the second floor until 10 pm at night and resuming at 5 am for hours. Dogs barked incessantly while guests went out to dine. And every door in the hotel slams. Literally no soft closings. We DO NOT recommend this hotel for a restful stay.
The family running the location is very friendly and always willing to help in any way they can. The location was perfect because it was only a few blocks from downtown Arroyo Grande (and my favorite burger joint “Old Village Grill”) and it gave my family and I a chance to get out and walk around. Plus it was close enough to the freeways and the main road if I wanted to go anywhere else.
extraordinary friendly staff! dogfriendly but nevertheless very clean. the pool area with one normal and one heated pool is open until ten in the evening.
the so called breakfast (take away - no buffet) is small and unfortunately nothing special.
we were on a west coast round trip and this was the second cleanest house from over 30 hotels in four weeks.
Easy checking in and the experience was GREAT! It is near IMPOSSIBLE to find a MOTEL, that’s right, you heard me right, a MOTEL that has non-Smoking rooms. At this hotel, every room is non-Smoking and that made the whole experience worth it. I will definitely stay here from now on.
Excellent location, the staff are great and it’s centrally located without the $300-$500 Pismo and Shell Beach rates. Save the money on the hotel and enjoy eating steak at AJ Spurs or Pismo Beach Fish n Chips.
Nice and clean hotel, with h24 virtual service (there isn't anyone at the reception, but someone who connects remotely everything a customer gets in).
Good location.
The whole hotel has been redone it’s very nice. Love no carpets. ( the floor felt a bit sandy so we had to use the bath mat to wipe feet to get into bed.
